I don't think the mods have done so bad. They deleted what was apparently the most egregious post and then allowed others to vent against this poster in a way that would not usually be allowed; they realized this venting was necessary tonight. I do think that they should have let Mastershake know that he must stop posting in this forum tonight or he would be suspended.
