Cracks me up all the engineers I work with see me pull out my iPad or iPhone or MacBook .....they laugh....and they all can only say one thing......,"But can you change the battery in any of those devices.?"

Why would I ever want to change the battery in anything I own? Honestly?

I used to have removable batteries. It was great honestly. Run out of power just slip in a new battery.

Now samsungs have no expandable memory or removable batteries.

I'm just in the Google ecosystem and honestly, I'm not a fan of the apple Photos app.

And holy shit, the new HEIC photo format sucks ass, at least if you use programs that want images in jpg or png format

Copped some Western Rise Evolution pants. Great travel pants, basically the feel of lululemons, but more serious looking. Super packable. I had two pairs of the 1.0 pants. The 2.0s are new and 40% off for black Friday (still pricy). I like traveling light and I wash my clothes in the sink when I do travel longer. Quick dry clothes are clutch.

Only thing we've bought from apple is airpods. Not computers, not phones, not watches (though, I used to own an Apple IIe).

They nailed the fit and ergonomics of the airpods.

Do you wear socks and shoes? They've plenty of good options... I particularly like having Merino wool socks (Smartwool, Darn Tough) as they're more comfortable, last a really long time & don't stink.

I only use merino for travelling. I have some smartwool and darn tough

For everyday I buy the exact same socks in bulk from Amazon, saves on matching them when doing laundry.
