Man is shot dead at Breonna Taylor protest in Louisville after gunman fires on demonstrators in Jefferson Square Park in the city - sparking panic among protesters
  • One man was shot dead in the incident at Jefferson Square Park in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, at around 9 p.m. Saturday
  • Disturbing footage on social media shows the moment the shooter aims his gun at the masses of people peacefully protesting and fires multiple shots
  • It later shows people rushing to assist one person lying in a pool of blood
  • Officers received a report of a second victim at the Hall of Justice who was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries
  • The park has become a focal point for the city's protests demanding justice for Breonna Taylor, the black EMT gunned down by cops in her apartment in March
  • This is the second shooting during protests in Louisville over Taylor's death

A man has been shot dead at a Breonna Taylor protest in Louisville after a white man opened fire on peaceful demonstrators in a crowded park, according to local police.

At least two people were shot - one fatally - in the incident at Jefferson Square Park in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, at around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies performed life-saving measures on an unidentified male victim but he died at the scene.

There are people who are going to use this as the reason they "voted for Trump", but it's really just someone looking for any excuse to validate them voting for him, since they were going to anyway and are too embarrassed to vote for him in the first place.

It happens all the time. People need a catalyst to justify something, and usually it's to mask their ignorance of something, or their shame about it.

I was referring to L’Oréal taking white/whitening, light/ lighter out if cosmetics. Those I’m the mid west don’t care about the Civil War but if the movement gets to crazy with their cancel culture it will turn people off.

President Donald Trump on Sunday widely shared a video he said is from the Villages, a community in Florida, in which a man driving a golf cart with Trump campaign posters is seen chanting "white power."

The President retweeted the video that showed the community's Trump supporters and anti-Trump protesters arguing with one another. The President thanked the "great people" shown in the video.

"Thank you to the great people of The Villages. The Radical Left Do Nothing Democrats will Fall in the Fall. Corrupt Joe is shot. See you soon!!" he wrote in the tweet.

Wrong...many Factory dems in Wisconsin passed on Hillary and either didn’t vote or voted for someone else. Just saying you can take anything to far and piss people off.

Im saying that people who use renaming stuff as a reason to not vote for someone (who might or might not support said renaming of stuff) is a weak justification for voting for the other candidate all along.

Those who don't vote for a candidate (Clinton in your scenario) didn't not vote for her because what a lot of people argue over (trivial things), but because they felt that she was a bad candidate, they didn't go to their state and have felt they've been passed over/ignored/taken advantage of for a long time by the party.

They didn't need some random short term point for their justification.

Not all are ok with cancel culture in the dem party, I know, I vote dem 95% of the time and have many relatives that also our turned off my to much of the tearing down of the statutes and looting such.
WE all will vote for Joe but if he takes off to the radicle side and I will right in Pete as he's got common since.

For sure some of them but many dems that ride Harleys with American Flags hanging from their homes are very fickle and they put Trump in the Whitehouse. They also out BClinton there too. If Joe plays his cards right they will put him there too. But if he endorses no cops, tear down Madison lol, they will vote for Willy Davidson.

I grew up watching John Wayne movies, loved them. There are some truly great movies. So I was a little confused when I saw the airport thing.

And after reading it I can see why. It won't change my enjoyment of his movies but I have no problem with them changing the name of the airport.

This is what people are upset about:

The resolution cited a 1971 Playboy magazine interview in which Wayne makes bigoted statements against black people, Native Americans and the LGBTQ community.

He said: 'I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. We can't all of a sudden get down on our knees and turn everything over to the leadership of the blacks. The actor added he felt no remorse in the subjugation of Native Americans.

'There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves.'

Wayne also called movies such as 'Easy Rider' and 'Midnight Cowboy' perverted, and used a gay slur to refer to the two main characters of the latter film.

I think that people who were on the fence of NOT voting for him, will start to think that all this changing of names and knocking down statues will push them back towards voting for him.
