Damn shit is getting crazy

Jesus Christ. What the fuck is wrong with people. It is one thing to protest, but this is fucked up.

There's justified anger, and then there's justifying being a fucking idiot. I totally get why people are feeling they have no other recourse for what happens to POC at a higher rate than other people, but there has to be a point where remembering who the enemy is, remains in mind.

Target is not the enemy, this person in the wheelchair is not the enemy. And doing stuff like this just feeds the mindset of the people who think "they're uncivilized" and "they're sub-human" or "not real Americans".

They need to realize they're just feeding the beast they're fighting, by acting this way.

Though I understand why they are reacting the way they do (feeling powerless, nothing will change/no one will be held accountable/hardly anyone is held accountable), this is not the way to go.

I get the protests. I get blocking off streets and standing together. I am all for the officers involved to be brought to justice. But, burning down stores and looting stores. Some may call that a revolution. I call it theft and taking advantage of a man's death. It is not a good image.

I agree target is not the enemy. That lady had a knife though apparently and was stabbing looters, so maybe in that moment she was an enemy, but shit.

Another guy is dead because he tried to loot a pawn shop and the owner shot him. The national guard is being called in. It's crazy.

These people are all on video too. They will get caught eventually. This is not a free pass.

White people march armed and threaten legislators and governors, no problem. Black protesters met with tear has and rubber bullets, then blamed when things get out of hand.

Side issue, Mr. Floyd was a close friend of ex Warrior Stephen Jackson. They called one another Twin. Lifelong friends.

Yep--it's clearly the police's fault that people are looting Target.
