I just saw it announced by some psychologist stating, "If a white person claims, 'I'm not racist', then, in and of itself, they're effectively racist."

Huh? Really? Wow. I need to go down to Powell's and buy me a pc thesaurus.

Don't know the psychologist's reasoning. If I were to guess, he/she meant that such a person would be displaying a lack of awareness that would cause them to having blind spots to where they do exhibit prejudice, leading to more such behavior.

I mean, I suppose in a sense it means, like a lot of things, you don’t need to prove yourself to anyone by declaration and are comfortable in your own skin and let others judge you as they will.

Agreed. I thought she made some solid points. It kind of shifted how I thought of some things...

I've been impressed by the overall message though considering the movement has had to define itself on the fly.

I agree with a lot of his more of policies versus left leaning policies. Definitely not MAGA tho.
 
I am guessing cities (Seattle and Portland) will have competition on how far they can push the envelope.
