Because the moratorium on deals has started, nothing can be done today, or tomorrow, etc. So while new salaries don't officially take effect until the new league year starts, no deal can be done under the old salaries.

No, it would have been today before 3pm. After 3, nothing can be done at all until the 5th. Even all the "agreed upon" stuff, takes place then, which uses the new #s

I like Zach a bunch but he is never going to be Blake Griffin. If by the Trade deadline this team is not rolling they better make a move.
If either of these scenarios was at all plausible i would go for Blake. You Put Lillard, CJ, Nurk, Griffin, Hood on the court and you have a very good team.
Not a fan of bringing Kevin Love here but he also would make this team tough to guard.
