But thanks for bringing that to my attention, it has been fixed.

Why fix it? "Fixing" it only covers up the wrongdoing. If you call someone a bitch (or any other terrible derogatory term) it should stay up as a reminder not be hidden.

Sly's a trustworthy guy. What does he have to gain by lying? I don't agree that he's making an example because there are many in here who believe she shouldn't have been banned. If she decided to quit the board, how does it make him look better by saying he banned her?

Fishy, indeed. I think she was an experimental 'flame-bot' designed to drive site traffic. After making numerous tweaks over the past several weeks, sophisticated econometric algorithms determined that some posters were in fact posting less, fearing the wrath of B.F., while others felt so emasculated they returned to O-live. I expect they'll have B.F. v.2.0 on-line by draft time.

In preschool, if someones feelings are being hurt because someone made fun of them, they get punished... the severity of that punishment would in fact be arbitrary if no measures were put in place... so...

I never complained about her to the mods, but besides just being inordinately busy with work, my post-bacc, trying to work on a (bad) novel and general fucking about. I can say that BF definitely contributed to my absence and general lack of enthusiasm for the board in the last few months.
