I'm fine if you guys want to hold a new mod election. I think one of the things that makes this forum so good is that we elect mods from the membership. If you guys want to go in a different direction and replace me as mod it might be better for the forum. I like being a mod and try to do a good job so I might campaign a little to stay on as one but it wouldn't insult me if we decided to make a change.

And no, I'm only speaking for myself. We wouldn't be holding an election to replace anyone else.

I rarely make a serious post but here goes: I think you do a fantastic job.

As for BF's ban, I'm not sure if this already occurred, but a temporary ban seems more appropriate if anything. Her passion would on occasion actually produce some pretty good posts with interesting research. I really wish she wouldn't be so annoying to everyone she disagrees with though. It got really old, really fast. Not so much the content, the QUANTITY.

Blazer Fanatic offered more logical information and stats in her posts than 90% of people in here. People whine in unison and someone gets banned. I for one don't think she did anything wrong and there are far worse posters who post in here everyday. Whiners should be dealt with like floppers: look at them, say nothing, and ignore the whine. When you reward the flop with a whistle what happens? More fucking flopping.

Due to a rather large number of PMs we've received from multiple different members complaining about the forum not being fun due to BF's presence, a number of PMs exchanged with her with no satisfactory change, and after long discussions by all of the Blazer mod staff we feel that she is too disruptive so I have banned her.

I think it's more pathetic that we have had two female posters here in the past year (well, maybe just one, who knows with PDXKass), and a vocal minority of male losers have either run them off the board, or whined enough to have them banned.

Frankly, with the treatment BF got here from some so-called "respected" members, I'm surprised she stuck around long enough to get banned.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled circle jerk!

Great. Two of the mods who don't have silly fights with posters offer to put themselves up for re-election. What a waste of time that would be.

I'd still be around.. and I'm not looking to be a "martyr" or anything like that, its just been getting to the point the last few months where I cant keep up with the growing antimosity in here.

I feel I'm doing this place a disservice at times too though since I'm not really around when things get most heated. I dont post in Ducks game threads during the game, cause I'm usually watching with friends.

With no comcast availability I get to see at most 20% of Blazer games, and posting while watching an illegal feed gets difficult lol.

Plus Timbers season is about to go into full swing again which takes up a lot of my time #WheelsIsACommunist!

Say what you want but the bottom line is exactly what PapaG talked about. The men in this forum are whining about being bullied and it got our only female poster banned. I'm not a sexist at all. I'm not a fan of bans unless its spam. Even trolls like carlito served to create discussion. Bf liked to beat a dead horse but she was usually entertaining, even though she wouldn't cheat on her husband with me. If you have nothing better to do than cry to teacher about someone else on a message board I think you should reevaluate your life. I've never used ignore but it seems like a pretty simple solution if you just can't stand someone's posts but lack the will to scan over it.
