No it wasn't. It was significantly more than that. I've seen posts here stating that the majority of her posts were slamming other people. That is clearly false.

No, we need an open thread where people can continue to bitch (not that it stops them from bitching in every other thread, but it does help keep it out of other threads).

Where did someone say that the "majority of her posts" were slamming people? She made a ton of posts in her short time here. I think Denny said something around 50 posts per day. That's really high. I believe that I said that she was consistently combative and aggressive with people who did not agree with her, which included personal attacks and baiting.

And I looked at the first five pages on her profile. At least the first four were from the Memphis game thread.

Herein lies my confusion. Is this worthy of a ban? How about the same poster's earlier comment in the thread that he stopped reading my post (which I thought was reasonable and not attacking individuals) because it was too much like BF's posts?

At RC2 we encourage people to attack the post and not the poster. I read that he was jokingly attacking your post but was not insulting you personally.

Why would him pointing out that people bitch be ban worthy? If for the next two months he consistently attacks you because of your posting style, and refuses to listen to many many warnings from the mods, then sure.

I stopped reading it because it was too long and everyone keeps asking the same questions and everyone keeps answering with the same answers.

I stopped reading BF's posts because of her approach of attacking people. I assume people got tired of being attacked. It kinda forces people to tone down their typical behaviors. It does get kinda lame when you have someone constantly attacking everyone and constantly disagreeing with every post. That's half the reason she had so many posts.

So two very different types of posts.... And again, I don't necessarily agree with the banning, but I can understand it and I don't question it. My approach was my approach, but I also had stopped posting (and pretty much stopped reading) the basketball side of the forum.

i always heard it as

"boss makes a dollar, i make a dime, thats why i shit on boss's time"

and im right there with alot of posters here on this...banning seems so permanent and unnecessary, but that poster really was harshing a lot of peoples mellows, man. i was having a hard time reading threads all of the sudden, and bf was the reason in my estimation.

whatevz, sucks and stuff, but it kinda makes my experience better, so im not sure how to feel. kinda like a really comfortable pair of baby seal skin boots.

I've heard it a few different ways.... and then there's always the classic, "if you're good at something, you should get paid to do it." :grin:
 
After reading some of the posts in this thread and here - http://www.basketballforum.com/portland-trail-blazers/542809-s2-starting-unravel-4.html I think there is a money making opportunity in creating a new forum called, "The Blazer Fans who hate SlyPokerDog forum."

I could secretly own it and let Mixum moderate it. The more people I piss off here means the more people will leave and join that forum. Then I could start making the big bucks that Denny is.
 
I know some will say who cares, but are you seeing the threads and posts from MIX over there.....they are fucking awesome! I say bring this guy back to S2!!

There would be maybe four or five people there and they would all leave because they would try to troll during losses and nobody would take the bait.
