So... they're keeping everybody out at least until 2026? Who's gonna be back first out of
Jrue
Matisse
Scoot
Wesley
??

(Imagine having all of those four. And that's without Lillard still.)

Scoot injured his hamstring in late September. An injury with a non-surgical recovery according to Portland. The original prognosis was 4-8 weeks recovery till re-evaluation. It's now the 13th week since the injury. Supposedly, he's been doing some non-contact drills. For basketball, I'm not sure what that means exactly. Sounds like some kinds of motion exercises but with nobody close to him during. Which also sounds like he's not close to healed yet

it's been about 90 days. According to these links, that would make Scoot's hamstring injury the 3rd worst in years in terms of missed days:

it has now been about 38 days since Jrue strained his right hamstring. According to the links that would be around the 4th longest recovery but with the recent evidence that a weakened calf can lead to a torn Achilles, I'd expect the recovery times will start getting a lot longer

from reading links, I wouldn't expect Wesley to return till the first part of February. Might be the same for Thybulle but he could be back much sooner if it was a minor tear and surgery

What is the rate of injuries that occurred when returning too soon?
I'm fine with them taking as long as necessary for players to come back. Besides that it forces players to show up (it's kind of has forced Deni and Shaedon to take on more of a role than they would otherwise), I'd rather not risk either of those two (Jrue and Scoot) getting re-hurt or worse yet, having a significantly worse injury.

It sucks from a fan standpoint, but I think there's a reason why Damian tore his Achilles last year, and same with Haliburton.

Jrue has a calf strain. In every single instance of this injury, my directive would be for that player to get to 100% before playing again.
Jrue should take as much time as he needs.

Jrue, Scoot, and Thybulle will be back in January. Blake will be back in February.
