Thinking about it, yeah...if we're just going to shoot contested 20-footers (ahem, Roy), then you may as well have Travis doing it.
 
It's just not this game. We could be a lot better if we had a more uptempo system. I've been on the Nate McMillan sucks ass bandwagon since last year.
 
I think Nate is a very good coach. I also think Doug Collins is a very good coach. But I don't think either of them are capable of winning an NBA Championship. Nate has done a good job of developing the players, but to me it looks like the talent on this team is above his head, just like Collins in Chicago. Pretty soon Pritchard is going to have to take control of his team if the Blazers are going to reach the promised land.
 
Outside of not getting the ball to Oden now we take him out anyway. What the fuck is wrong. We are losing by 20 points and we still can get the ball to Oden down low.

Unfortunately, that's been our offense.

When are we allowed to criticize Brandon Roy for being lazy on defense, almost all year? It's not sacrilegious to criticize him is it?

This could be the worst half of basketball that a Blazer team has played in years. And I get to watch it! Lucky me.
 
Nate is being out coached in a big way.

Now we are playing small ball to combat the Thunder's layup drill. An 11-win team has just dictated Nate what to do.
 
So, I'm just thinking here...since the beginning of the NOH game we've played one good quarter (the 4th against NOH with Paul out), one one-minute stretch (last minute against DAL, against their scrubs), and that's it.

13 minutes out of 120. Tell me what's to blame for that.
 
the justin/tv feed just stopped... uhhhhh hello? maybe I shouldn't complain.
 
Nate just told his PG-PF they could switch. ugh.
 
It would be SO nice if we could actually not fall behind by double digits each frickin game..our defense is so piss poor, we are playing soft, don't attack the hoop..even if we do come back to win, this is horrible basketball..i am so furious and contemplating studying instead of watching this
 
Nate says 1-4 can switch.


I understand that everyone thinks Nate is some D wiz, but everything I've seen from his teams leads me to believe he knows nothing.
 
We're actually playing them even since Sergio came bak in and sped up the tempo.

Unfortunately we were down by 17 when he came in.
 
This team gives up 103 points per game... and we have 37 points.. wtf.
