Moving pick by Pek, Travel by Cunningham and they still miss the final shot. BIG FU TO THE REFS!

Dante obviously traveled on that last shot attempt.

Oh well, put this one away and get to Dallas ASAP. That was ugly.

That was bullshit refereeing, helping a team that did not deserve it with their lousy play.

Seriously? You're going to claim luck when the refs were trying to gift the game the Minnesota?

The reffing was pretty bad, but they're still the ones that shit the bed down the stretch and gave up a nineteen point game. Mostly though I was saying they were lucky on that last play, Dante was money from that spot all night.

Dante could have put the ball under his arm like a football and ran to the hoop from there and they wouldn't have called it. Rubio was doing it all game.

Missing 3 of 4 at the line in the last 40s is something you can't do and expect to win either.

Understatement of the year. I usually never complain about the reffing but tonight was just BLATANT.

It wouldn't come down to a last possession if the refs just called the game fairly.

And that last shot by Dante was one of the more obvious travels of the night, but of course the refs swallow their whistles.

I think it is time to start questioning our coach. We do not appear to run any fucking plays.

I can't argue with that, although I think the poor reffing had that Blazers wondering what would be called if they were proactive. The muggings on the perimeter by Rubio and Barea were obvious fouls on every possession.

Wonder why Rubio got to the lane in the 4th? Because Lillard knew if he touched him it was a foul. Meanwhile, Barea was putting two-hands on Lillard outside of the 3-point line. Just a very one-sided game in terms of officiating. Reminds me why I hate the NBA at times. That is how blatant it was, IMO.

Bad reffing didn't lead to a blown near twenty point lead in a single quarter though. The Blazers got hosed on a lot of calls, but not enough to completely wipe out a lead. Bad refs + bad play.

I don't understand why Aldridge misses all of those FT's??? He makes clutch jumpers?

Yeah, the refs had nothing to do with those misses. LMA needs to step up on it. Babbit at least hit one of his, and I don't think he's ever had to shoot clutch FTs in his NBA career prior to tonight.

No argument from me, it was pretty one sided and definitely contributed to the evaporation of the lead.

We kind of throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. There seems to be little discipline and the players just do whatever they feel like. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I guess people are happy it's not Nate ball though. It's more fun to watch when we are hitting our 3s.

It's not that they don't run plays, it's that they run the same plays that keep failing. I can't count the number of times they try to set a pick for Damian when he's WAY out on the perimeter and I always hold my breath because the other team will always trap Damian which usually leads to a turnover or a forced shot at the buzzer.

Here comes the contrarian, but I agree that bad play also factored in, and Lillard looked skittish because of foul trouble.

Bad calls can take away your momentum and give it to the trailing team.

It's a mental makeup thing with some people. LMA strikes me as a guy who does fine when it's all instant reaction and he doesn't have time to think about stuff, but put him in a position where can do nothing but think about it and he's kind of a choker; not everybody has ice-water in the their veins (difference between Lebron and Kobe for a long time too).

I think Stotts should have taken a technical at some point early in the 3rd quarter. Light up a ref to make a point.

Were you watching the game? The Blazers would have been up 30 at one point of the refs called it fairly the entire game.

For sure, but why is it such a sore point to say that the Blazers have to own their play down the stretch?

Fuck it, they won, move on.

Yes they need to protect leads. Just officiating so blatant like that is ridiculous. How can they even think they called it fairly?
