Holy shitamole!
Sounds like POR wants him to me:
Two questions
1. Who is his agent
Usually 10% on the low side and 15% on the high side. The trade kicker clause is interesting. I wonder what it is
Doesn't DAL need a Center badly now? And don't they have cap space? Surprised we beat them to the punch on Kanter.
So we would have roughly 13 MIL left to spend (provided we wanted to spend it) if Kanter isn't matched? In case you're wondering, that's basically 16.4, 17.1, 17.9, 18.6.
But lopez is more competent on DThe dude is trending to be a borderline elite center offensively
Someone made a Brook Lopez comparison and I think it's pretty spot on
Means if he is traded down the line that the team he goes to has to pay him more salary. Basically makes it harder to move a guy unless he waives it.whats a trade kicker
Yes this. Anyone?whats a trade kicker
If they get him, I wonder what they are going to do with all these bigs...
Worst case scenario....... we hurt a rival by making them pay more then they wanted. Which affects them down the road for other player.
Ugh. Well come next year when the cap increases substantially it will no longer be a horrible contract. But wow, there goes defense and allowing our younger bigs to grow.
