Rogers has a rep of helping out bigs. He was Zubac’ guy in LA for example. That was a great hire in regards to Nurk

Nurk believes Billups will make things simpler to understand.

In other words, Terry Stotts apparently was too advanced for Nurk to comprehend... - What he is saying about Billups now sounds exactly like what he was saying about Terry after getting out of the clutches of Malone in Denver.

Maybe Billups will be able to get to this guy and make him see himself as accountable...

I am officially in the "show me, consistently" mode with him at this point.

Me thinks Norm will be dangled during the reason. Does not sound like Dame wants CJ traded. "We weren't going to make a change for the sake of making a change." Combined with his cryptic IG post about not going over his circle. I just don't think Dame wants CJ traded unless it's like a no-brainer trade for an established superstar. Simmons isn't that. Neither is Siakam...

after sleuthing through Dame's social all year, I really feel like that post wasn't blazer related.

CJ isn't getting traded, but I don't it's because of Dame stopping it. It's because Neil wants to see what Chauncey can do with him.

Going back to that rumor I found on the Hawks board about Norm/Cov for Simmons coming once Powell can be traded....

Not one player seemed hesitant about losing Stotts all offseason. Not one. So either they’re all wrong, or Stotts just wasn’t very good at the main things a head coach should be good at. This team essentially had an assistant as head coach for nearly a decade. Shows how much of an impact a superstar level player can make.

nas hasn't come out yet, but i'm fairly certain both of them have grown about an inch or so.

Nurk will inherit a few shots from both Dame & CJ. He'll get probably 3-5 more shots per game. He's on a contract year so I expect him to take advantage of additional role, of course if he stays healthy.
I love it when Nurk refers to iso ball as a negative. Going to be real interesting to if this team can move and share the ball more.
