Very impressed with Billups Media day conference. I like 10x more than Stotts already. I always thought he was one of the best options we could of gotten at coach and am excited to see what he can do.
Wow! A whole 10x more huh? And you haven’t even seen him coach? Wow!

he also was a little bit more candid about how he felt this summer. Just wants everyone to be on the same page about winning a championship. I’m starting to feel like this whole thing is also a message to player like nurk and CJ. Get better in the off season…come ready and in shape…get a killer mentality
CJ did exactly that the beginning of last season. Best shape of his life and he was on fire. Then the injury.

Neil seemed completely resistant to breaking up Dame/CJ yet again.
This will be his legacy. He stayed with the same two guards way past the point of reason, and the Blazers never won a championship because of it.

Hope you’re right, of course, but I’d wager money on a lot of things before I’d bet a dime on that.
I'm being stupidly optimistic. I do it every season right before the ass whooping begins. And I know that I do it. And I don't care. Haha
Blazers getting the chip this year. Tag me after the season.

Hey man, I'm with you. Until I see otherwise, Nance and Billups were this squad's version of Buck and Adelman--the missing pieces to elevate us to contender status.

(Yes, I know Adelman took over midway through the '89 season--shut up, I don't care)

Maybe, but it's more likely that his Legacy will be getting the Blazers into the playoffs every year - something I believe no other team has done during that stretch.

On Odds Shark $100 will net you $6600.
You could make 4 or 5 good bets like this and cover by going with the Bucks, Phoenix, Golden State and Utah.
Problem i see is the NBA wants the Lakers vs the Nets really really badly.

That’s a very low bar, especially since the Blazers have seldom gotten beyond the first or second round.
