So if we sign Aminu and Monroe, what's the next step? If Aldridge doesn't re-sign, who do we go after next?

David Falk and his comments after the Hibbert offer sheet leads me to believe this one is in the bag.

Explain?
But in all seriousness... They would be better off because they would still be able to retain their bird rights. Taking a 1 year cut could make them a helluva lot more money next summer. Can you imagine how awesome it will be when LBJ signs here for the minimum? Sweeeeeeet!
We will go after a PF. LA or Love.
Then we deal Kaman for a little backcourt depth.

5 years 90 mil for Matthews and 5 years 130 mil for Aldridge, while playing with a stacked team of Dame, Henderson, Aminu, Monroe, Noah, CJ, Leonard, Pat would be extremely tempting
Unless they sign for less first like SAS may do to get Aldridge. Then the cap hold dropsNot possible. We have to renounce Matthews to have the cap space to sign Aminu and Monroe while retaining Aldridge.

Well thanks for fucking up my dream assholeSure--Matthews and Monroe would have to sign for a combined 16M. That's not happening.
I want this.DeRozan! Supposedly Toronto is trying to move him to clear cap space. He doesn't even make that much.
Things Eric says to his NBA sex partner for $1000, AlexWell thanks for fucking up my dream asshole
Well thanks for fucking up my dream, asshole

Hmmm. It seems as if the decisions of both Monroe and Aldridge might depend on each other. If Monroe knows we will have Aldridge it seems that would make us the most attractive team over LA, New York and Milwaukee. For Aldridge maybe it not as clear; does he really prefer Monroe over Lopez, but if he thought it made us a stronger team and with the extra money? Anyway if we did get those two, it would seem then we would try to trade for a better SG. Looking back now we can see that neither Olshey or any inside guys have mentioned Lopez or Matthews in relation to the Blazers so it shouldn't be a big surprise if they are out; although I suppose if they don't get either;or Aldridge, Monroe, that could change.
If he shows up in Washington, DC with his superyacht....Does Paul Allen attending a free agency pitch help? I'm not so sure...
I want this.
that can be interpreted in a couple ways.Well thanks for fucking up my dream asshole

Nope. Green is getting $45M to stay in SA.I think Meyers might be ready to start at PF. So we could spend our money on another 2/3. Danny Green?
Lillard/Sergio
Henderson/CJ
Green/Aminu
Leonard/Vonleh
Monroe/Kaman
We could try and toss max money at Wade thoughNope. Green is getting $45M to stay in SA.
That move would go against everything Olshey has done in the past week. Literally a 0% chance of that happening. We could try and toss max money at Wade though
Maybe they'll do a sign and trade for LA. LA gets more money and years with a sign and trade.Nope. Green is getting $45M to stay in SA.
Maybe they will but doubt it and the second part isn't true anymore with the new CBA.Maybe they'll do a sign and trade for LA. LA gets more money and years with a sign and trade.
