Shit, could you imagine if we beat out the Spurs for both players?
I don't know that I like those odds....
Or LMA, for that matter?Pops used Parker as a whipping boy for YEARS because he didn't play defense. How's he gonna deal with Monroe?
Remember- last year at this time, Bosh was definitely signing with Houston.

Thats a great point to remember, Eric. Until its reported he's agreed no one knows
I think wes is 100% gone. I don't think the FO wants anything to do with that situation.Lillard, Aldridge, Monroe, Aminu, Henderson, Plumlee, Meyers, CJ...Blazers are looking pretty good.
Now if only we could keep Wes on a reasonable contract.

I think you are probably correct.I think wes is 100% gone. I don't think the FO wants anything to do with that situation.
So, Wes and Lopez for Monroe, in a manner of speaking? We can't keep him if we're really going after Monroe

I think unless we are getting Hibbert he is staying. Kaman isn't my favorite player but he is still a good rotational big, just as long as he isn't the first off the bench.Still don't know about the Kaman contract unless it is for a trade.
I wonder if it has something to do with developing all the young improving bigs that we have recently acquired.Still don't know about the Kaman contract unless it is for a trade.
Shame to have to tie up that cap space for that, but we certainly have three young bigs who can use his tutelage.I wonder if it has something to do with developing all the young improving bigs that we have recently acquired.
Kaman is frustrating as hell. He's played in the league long enough to have learned how to pass out of a double team. As soon as he puts in on the floor the other team collapses and he's a turnover waiting to happen. That problem figures prominently in the other team's scouting report. So, if he is not making the midrange jumper he is just an OK rebounder that can't defend a P and R. Meh-Kaman Schmaman.I think unless we are getting Hibbert he is staying. I agree on the TO machine part. Still he has good post moves and it has rubbed off on Legend. Vonleh and Plums could use some of that.Kaman is frustrating as hell. Yes you may.A point that has been made probably half a dozen times now?
And Eric? (May I call you Eric?) I agree with ya.
Good point.I agree on the TO machine part. Still he has good post moves and it has rubbed off on Legend. Vonleh and Plums could use some of that.
Kaman can still come in and take a young guy to school and allow rest for other players when needed.
Really? You told me to call you "Mr. Speed."Yes you may.
Exactly. Keeping Kaman is a win/win - he either helps accelerate the development of our bigs, or he's used as a trade chip. Either way, we're better off by picking up his option.Even if he stays we can trade him away at the deadline.
