Shit, could you imagine if we beat out the Spurs for both players?

I don't know that I like those odds....

Remember- last year at this time, Bosh was definitely signing with Houston.

It seems like as I read the threads and try to keep up, that there are really only about 4 different conversations that keep being rolled over and over. In part because a new thread is started, but also in part because some people do not read the thread and just comment. I have seen many questions asked, where the answer was earlier on the same page!
I understand everyone's concerned excitement, but man its more chaotic in here than it is in the free agency world at the moment...

Lillard, Aldridge, Monroe, Aminu, Henderson, Plumlee, Meyers, CJ...Blazers are looking pretty good.

Now if only we could keep Wes on a reasonable contract.

Still don't know about the Kaman contract unless it is for a trade.

I wonder if it has something to do with developing all the young improving bigs that we have recently acquired.
Shame to have to tie up that cap space for that, but we certainly have three young bigs who can use his tutelage.

I think unless we are getting Hibbert he is staying. Kaman isn't my favorite player but he is still a good rotational big, just as long as he isn't the first off the bench.
Kaman is frustrating as hell. He's played in the league long enough to have learned how to pass out of a double team. As soon as he puts in on the floor the other team collapses and he's a turnover waiting to happen. That problem figures prominently in the other team's scouting report. So, if he is not making the midrange jumper he is just an OK rebounder that can't defend a P and R. Meh-Kaman Schmaman.

I agree on the TO machine part. Still he has good post moves and it has rubbed off on Legend. Vonleh and Plums could use some of that.

Kaman can still come in and take a young guy to school and allow rest for other players when needed.

Even if he stays we can trade him away at the deadline.

Exactly. Keeping Kaman is a win/win - he either helps accelerate the development of our bigs, or he's used as a trade chip. Either way, we're better off by picking up his option.
