Blazers' Oden, Przybilla go full speed; Camby will play

Great news and a good find.

As to your second comment, I would seriously consider trading Canzano and a Blazers 1st rounder to get Smith back.

Przybilla looked the strongest and appeared leaner than last season. Oden ran with a slight limp, but moved up and down the court well. The duo looked the most comfortable in the low block, working with Raymond Sykes.

SHAMEFUL

oden still has a limp. of course he does. 10 months inst nearly enough time for a guy in his early 20's to recover.

but i dont know whats sadder... that or a guy who covers utah has more info then o-live

Greg has always had an awkward looking run.

The Dre Miller Speak was better than anything else in the article.

"It's just a communication thing about everybody," Miller said. "I think everything will work out this year."

Miller said Matthews' smooth yet intense style is years beyond his age.

Thank you Paul Allen! Sorry Sloan

And he got tendinitis from trying to accelerate his comeback because of people like you who want him to rush back, which is why he is limping.

Great news!!!!! Smith once again embarrasses the lil o writers

Oden still running with a slight limp. That's a little concerning, but he has one anyway due to his different length legs. Smith should know that though, so I wonder how pronounced the limp is?

Jason Quick would have scooped everyone on this story if only the Jazz had their court surrounded with mini-blinds.

More interesting content in that one "shootaround notes" article written in Salt Lake by a Utah reporter than anything coming out of Portland in months.

Does the Oregonian pay for their writers to go on road trips in the preseason?

wow that is really amazing that quick and freeman had nothing on this. NOTHING. quick is too busy trying to do an interview with rudys agent.

:smiley-yup:

It seems like Miller is the forgotten story this preseason.
Portland point guard Andre Miller — who is leaner and in better shape than he was at any point last season — said he wants to continue his career with the Blazers, and hopes the team picks up an option for the 2011-12 season.
Miller may be in his best pre-season shape ever, and certainly coming into a season in many years. He's got his body ready. He's got his mindset adjusted. Play Ball!!

I'll go with Door #3: Your "He won't be back by Christmas" Prediction that you tout as fact.

it was from horses mouth...

or in this case the gimps mouth

No one here has ever said the Oregonian has a good sports section. So who are you trying to "punk"?

Canzano isn't a Blazer beat writer. He's a columnist.

Quick is a beat writer, but it doesn't stop him from infusing his opinion in his pieces. Canzano follows the Blazers as much as the next guy at the Oregonian, but he doesn't get to travel with the team. He's been using the columnist thing as a scapegoat for his horrible opinions for years.

What's amazing to me is that after getting some good news like this, some folks use it as an opportunity to bash our players.

Shameful.

The difference in the size of his legs isn't enough to have a noticeable limp. He hasn't had a noticeable limp throughout his career.

Point being that trading Canzano for Smith does nothing to improve the beat writers. for the Blazers. Quick or Freeman makes sense; not Canzano.

touche.

But, I'd still rather have Smith over Canzano. Smith was too good of a beat writer to be considered at the O. Hell, Hendrickson was better than anything the O has. That paper is so weak its sad.

I would rather have a half starved chimp randomly slap at the keyboard for articles then Canzano.

The Bald Faced Fuck is the sports writing equivalent of an abulance chaser.

He probably gets a hard on everytime he finds out about another Blazer fan with a terminal illness.
