What's also true, very few teams win championships without multiple stars.

So Neil could put together a roster of multiple stars that don't win a championship, but he's going to have a hard time putting together a championship with only one star.

I don't believe for a second that anything in this press conference wasn't carefully planned because of how bad the PR has been from this whole thing.

Dame isn't there for a reason.

CJ didn't just show up. I'm 100% sure the team carefully decided who to put up there with Billups. CJ is the most well-spoken person on the team. RoCo is an extremely likeable guy as well. But I think it's questionable to bring out CJ when he should be on the trading block. There should only be players up there that have a clear future with the team, or no players at all.

I'm a little disappointed that Dame isn't there, but it feels like he's distancing himself from the hire.

You just might be reading too much into it. If Dame was there, everyone would want to hear from him istead of the GM and new coach.
