Pau is good, probably still good, could give us a year or two of good production and fits our needs of having a low post scorer and is a good smart player in many facets of the game.
He is old though, even if his game was never based on athleticism, would be a short-term rental

Pau Gasol still has 2 or 3 good years in him. But I would be surpised he choose to spend them in a place that recently hasn't been a good destination for Spanish players. Sergio, Rudy, Claver surely don't have only good memories in PDX. And if San Antonio offers less money but a real chance at winning a title, I would totally understand him to go there.
