I'm glad he got picked up. I think he is a better prospect than Mills. I think Mills is a dynamic scorer, but he seems like a less talented Damon Stoudamire and I really don't want to see another of those on our team.
 
Good. I like what he brings. I would like it better if it came with an outside shot, but I still like it.

While I like his defense, I really appreciate how quickly he passes the ball after bringing it up. I looks for a quick opening, and if it is not there he moves into the offense. No pounding the ball.

This does not mean they won't keep Mills also. They can keep him around until camp if they want (and he doesn't sign somewhere else).

I hope this wasn't Brian Smith's news from the other thread.
 
Mills just isn't enough of a scorer that we don't already have with Jerryd. At least with our version of Magic Johnson, he's shown some true PG skills and good defense. I'd like to see Magic stick ahead of Patty if it came down to those two.

Damon would have been great 3rd guard off the bench as a 22 min/game guy to take some shots and play like a sparkplug, instead of being miscast as a starter.
 
OK, on nicknames ...

He can't be "Magic", but I saw this posted on Blazersedge and I like it. How about "Hammer?" (As in Armon "Hammer")

Yeah, he's not a "Magic" but I could definitely see him as "Hammer".
 
Any news on how many years and for how much Armon's new contract is for?

Hopefully not, unless you are looking at it from the opposing player's point of view.

Armon "a leg" Johnson--because he cost us a lot more than he's worth.
 
Armoni / Armani. Because he has a smooth, stylish game? (I actually haven't watched him play yet, just going by the play-making that people who did watch were talking about.)
 
What about hearkening back to one of my all time favorite quirky shows that ended with a bang a BIIIG bang! This show was about 20 years ahead of it's time:

We could call him Sledge-Hammer. Guy is certainly beefy enough given his height!
