I'm getting tired of the Murray slander! He's actually doing ALL the simple things. He's pretty much the calming leader out there and he's playing stellar defense. So he can't score - well neither can Sarr! He's always in the right place and he's doing stuff that doesn't show up in the boxscore (as well as things that do, like 9 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block.

1) CK is a real quarterback for the defense. He's not just guarding his man, he's guarding the paint, and telling his teammates what's going on - he's moving a lot even when the ball is at the 3 point line.

2) Again, opposing players are thinking twice about challenging him in the paint.

I’m happy with Clingan, his defensive presence and rebounding really impacted this game .His offense isn’t great but it can improve. Good pick! I am however really not impressed with Kris Muarry or Rupert. Also Sarr looks horrible but it is only first few games of summer league, crazy that dude refused to work out for the hawks.

If he gets minutes just because the coaches love him, and he actually impacts the game in a positive way even without shooting well (like Toumani does), nobody will mind.

Yeah, the first quarter was painful. But it isn't like past years have been much better. The key is to tape them all and FF through the worst parts. The other 3 quarters last night were much better.
