Look, HCP says some bad jokes that might be illegal, but I'm pretty sure he's born and raised in Portland proper. I think he's got more credit than anyone else in this forum.
 
Adam Bjaranson Is gone!!!!!! Thank Jesus! He sucked so bad. So does Holton but whatever... At least he has actual ball knowledge.
 
Adam is a hell of a nice guy! When Mags and his wife came to town Adam gave us a tour of the Blazer broadcasting facilities and Blazer locker room. Also when Adam had his own show on Blazer.TV he hooked me up with a ton of swag. Very sad to see him go.

I don't know I just didn't enjoy his style of broadcasting. Never came across as inviting. To be fair I don't really care for the pre or post game reporting so it's really just the halftime show.
 
Adam may have been a nice guy as Sly has vouched for, but I wasn't a fan of his as far as broadcasting goes. He came across like a douchey frat guy. Like a fake Ryan Seacrest. Like I said, maybe he is a great guy. Not going to judge. I just really didn't like him as a broadcaster.

I always liked Adam, met him once..the guy was a pro who probably talked more about golf than basketball on his show with Sara Hecht..he has broadcasting skills...just maybe needs a new landscape..he was the weather guy in Oakland I think to start his career.

But to be honest, I don't think he was a douche. I just didn't like his style of broadcasting. There were too many times when he would mix up what he was saying or flub lines and some jokes were just so dorky. It just seemed very rookie-esque IMO.

I wish him the best, but I am stoked for new blood.
 
I liked Mike & Mike, personally and on air. But few things are more futile than hankering over something that you can't change. The new people all have very good resumes. Lots of broadcasting basketball experience. So I'm willing to say, welcome.

I can't stand Hurd. He's like the Antonio Harvey of the TV side. Says stupid shit constantly.

Naw he’s way more knowledgeable than Harvey

Hurd is young and hip with the new generation of Blazer fans. Great hire he would have been a nice fit next to Barrett
