Blazers to Sign Tim Frazier

...which might make sense if there were a b and c league. :drevil:
MLB baseball does and it shows. The NBA doesnt. It just had a 'pool' where all varying degrees of 'talent' get dropped. Development is what that league does not do. Retreads is more like it.

This is great news. Earlier today, I was actually thinking we need a 3rd PG badly.

The B league == Euroleauge
The C league == Spanish league

The timing of this signing is interesting. I wonder if the Rockets with the Beverly surgery was ready to bring him up.

Noentheless, this is exactly what I wanted them to use their final spot on was a quick, young point guard who distribute. He's all these things.

Four triple-doubles and four other games in which all he needed was one rebound or assist for a triple-double.

Was he waived by the Sixers before the playoff roster deadline?

The way he moves reminds me of Andre Miller, albeit a much quicker Andre Miller.
Thankfully it looks like he doesn't shoot the 3-Ball like Andre, but does look to distribute like him.

That's "'Professor' Andre '52-as-a-dinosaur' Miller" to us.

"Smokin" Tim Frazier is a Blazer!!

In Olshey I trust. ;)

If Lillard and Blake go down, our playoffs depend upon this new guy. The 76ers started him in 3 of his 6 games, so I have full confidence. He averaged 28.5 mpg, but they were forced to choose between the burgeoning careers of him or Thomas Robinson. Philadelphia has played 25 players this season, not including the preseason, when they probably had a roster of 55 players. He appears destined for an all-time ranking somewhere between Steve Blake and Sergio Rodriguez, with some Nate McMillan mixed in. I may refer to this guy in my posts for many years. Meet the future Mr. Blazer.

Well...He's got a nice smile

Cool to have another 3rd stringer on the cheap. Have to check out his game.

I've seen that crocodile smile before somewhere.

Rare picture of a young Mike Rice. He already had a wrinkled neck.

Solid move. Missed out on Seth Curry I think, but I like this better than adding a retread like Nate Rob, etc

Haven't even seen the dude play and people already going ape shit over him.
