I love it, all things considered (Duop’s injury & our need for shooting)… he can shoot the rock, but my favorite part about his game, is that he plays with a bit of edge. Homie’s game definitely has some “FUCK YOU” to it, kind of like Toumani (although not necessarily the same quality of defender as Tou’).

yeah....this really seems like a no-brainer deal for Portland. A depth player who can shoot lights-out. And they got him for a player who is out for the season. I don't get why Atlanta did this deal; they are 9M below the tax line and their payroll is low next season. Unless they are looking at a major deal and knew they needed to clear a slot or two by waiving players. This way they pick up a couple of 2nd's

this also makes the next couple of weeks interesting for Portland. I was anticipating Reath getting waived to make room for Love/Sidy, but now....who? Is this a signal that Cronin has a bigger deal cooking?

The can waive Ruper to sign one of Cissoko or Love. Convert the other one in the off-season. That is probably the move, if there are no more deals (cough Mikal or Giannis).

I'm not really of fan of Cissoko so I'm fine letting him go.

I'm not a big fan of cutting Rupert.

I'd hope we trade RW3 for a pick and another expiring we can then immediately cut.
