Has our coaching staff worked with Meyers on his back to the basket game at all, or do they just tell him to shoot 3 pointers and outside jumpers? I can't think of a single time Meyers has tried to post up, or asked for the ball in the paint if it wasn't for an already wide open dunk.

Meyers is acting like that Latvian guy for GState who was good, got a big contract, then completely lost confidence and went all to shit. I think the only time Meyers must have displayed confidence is in his workout.

If you think that's the only reason why he's on the team then you're mistaken. Basketball players have to play both sides of the ball.

Because of his length and athleticism, he can be a very effective on-ball defender along the wing … Impressive physical tools allow him to literally drape and swarm opposing players,

TRob earned his spot in the rotation today. Best thing he did all summer was get hurt and expose how bad Meyers is, and as much as I love him, how limited Freeland is. We already knew that, but it's getting reinforced pretty well right now. Payne and Muscala and even this Tavares guy are all looking better than what we have in the front court.

I tried so hard to cut him some slack the first year and last summer, and even the first part of last season. I'm just so pissed that he continues to do the same stupid shit he did his first summer league. Either he doesn't have the ability to learn this game, or our coaches aren't coaching him right.
