Couple of takes from the game tonight.
CJ is doing very well and has gone from a possible contributor to a definite contributor.
Allen Crabbe is coming along nicely. Looks like he could become a very nice shooter behind Nic/Wes. His defense is also above average.
There has been a opportunity for Barton to deliver but IMO CJ has taken the reins and most likely will be a better option off the bench.

I see 35-38 for Lillard, Batum and LA. 30 for Wes and 26-28 for Lopez is a good possibility though. Rotation should be this:

Lillard (35) / Blake (13)
Wes (30) / McCollum (18)
Batum (35) / Barton (13)
Aldridge (35) / Robinson (13)
Lopez (28) / Kaman (20)

I honestly think Barton should play back up 3. He should learn to play the point forward role like Batum. CJ should be the first guard off the bench.

I agree but he might get some stiff competition from Crabbe before this is over. Allen is a way better shooter and for this offense you got to be reliable from 3.

I think Crabbe is one more year away.

I disagree. I think Barton is a decent defender.

Been on the CJ wagon since pre-draft workouts, great to see him get real playing time and produce amazing results! Blake is the facilitator off the bench, but I really think CJ can be our 6th Man in terms of scoring.

Doubt it, Barton brings another factor to his game. Craziness, chaos and playmaking. 60% of the time, he works everytime. Crabbe is just another Francisco Garcia.

Loved CJs game, hope this convinces coach to give him 18-20 mpg.

Loved the win, but we won't shoot that well very often.

I want to get more excited, but the 2 losses including a blowout are still on my mind.

It's not that I'm not high on him, he has been what we expected, a 2nd round lanky shooter. Whether he makes it with us or not has yet to be seen.

I like Crabbe, but his release is/has been pretty slow. If he can speed it up, he can make it. The NBA needs 3 point shooters. It's a 3-point gold rush for the next few years.

Just finished watching the game. Obviously Wes was on fire from beyond the arc. Batum had a couple nice quick release banks off the glass I hope to see more of.

Love watching CJ. Maybe he can be our 3rd PG after-all. But I still prefer him at SG with Blake. And I really want to see if he and Lillard can play together.

I thought the Clipper announcers went over board in talking about how strange Kaman is, but they did acknowledge how they think he will help us. He sure is skilled around the basket. Pretty much automatic left or right handed with those little baby hooks down deep.
