It's just so tiresome when a certain person in here thinks he can shoot better than Crabbe and then consistency implies he'd be a better coach that Stotts. Two years ago, he bragged about doing a video about "why Stotts is a joke." No respect.

I read through this thread.. your insistence on the "Gotcha" is just as tiresome than someone who talks X's and O's with confidence.

So Nurk, clearly our second best player, is only getting 24 minutes?

Melo's gonna hit the game winner to get us in NBA Finals.

The only scenario this works in is if next season he hits a game winner against us that puts us in position to get the first pick in the draft, we actually take the right player and that player is a superstar

Whiteside is our 3rd best. I don’t think it works at all well when they play together. My solution was more political than anything. Nurk’s only averaged 26-29 minutes anyway.

I have connections close to the coaching staff. The goal is to force them to shoot wide open threes to see what happens. Sometimes, they're forgetting but for the most part, they're executing the plan brilliantly.

As a coach of 30 years, this is complete rubbish. Portland has 3 talented defensive 7 footers in Nurk, Whiteside and Collins and 3 completely inept perimeter defenders in Dame, CJ and Melo. Why in the serious fuck would that be the game plan, and not funneling players into the strength of the defense? Stotts is a decent coach, he wouldn’t do what you’re claiming
