When we have less talent than the other team. This was not the case against the Thunder. We were without players, they were without likely 3 of their 4 best players in Horford, Hill and Ariza. Outside of SGA, the rest of that roster is one of the worst rosters in the NBA.

  • They still put up 30+ points in every quarter but one
  • Shot 45% from '3'...the worst shooting '3' team in the NBA
  • They missed 14 FT's....it could have been much worse
  • Mike Muscala hasn't scored that many points since March 28, 2018

I expect to win against who they trotted out anytime I have Dame, Kanter, Melo, Trent, DJJ, Ant, etc. Every time. #DefenseMatters
What about next game.....and the game after that....... at one point you need to acknowledge we aren't that good and are missing some our best players. That mean we might just play like shit and lose. Am I happy about this, no. Am I realistic about it, yes.

Well I watch there in the replays when you got your big on top and your point guard on the bottom. Giles and Kanter both can't move lateral and you damn know your point guard is not going to protect the rim. To me in opinion this going give the opponent easy basket to the rim. Oh who came up with needs to abonand it right now. It's alright to play zone but not this set up though the coaches staff needs to take a hard look where they got the guys.

God I hope that thing looks like the mom or other father! #BAM
He probably does. We are trying to adopt him. But unfortunately we don't know who the father is. Mom left him in the hospital about 30 hours after he was born. I'm gonna have fun telling him we found him under a rock.
Seriously he is a great little guy.

Multiple times I've completely acknowledged the Blazers missing players....and also add the complete picture that so was OKC....probably 3 of their best 4 players. We had our best player...and better than anyone they have now or are likely to have in a long time. Once again, we had more talent (much like the Bulls game) and came away with an embarrassing loss.

I've very realistic about this team....have been for years. But that is the part that is so frustrating. That they continue to be pretty much the same thing season after season whether thay are healthy, injured, have new complimentary players, have have the most continuity in the league.

Very frustrating watching Dame's prime erode away year after year after year....and sadly, that is the realistic truth I'm not happy about either.

I think Dame has indicated he's fine with staying in Portland and that a championship isn't everything. He's been given the opportunity to recruit FA's and suggest potential trades. I would hope if he thought he was waisting his time here he would request big changes, and even he being traded. I dont see that as the case at this point in time. Dame is not bashful about communicating a displeasure or suggestions, and if he lost confidence in either Stott's or Neil he more than likely would request a change in scenery. Dame is the man in this town and will become a legend here, that probably means as much to him as a championship? I do think he's loyal to the organization so I guess we keep checking which way the wind blows for the team?
