Interested to see the changes they've made defensively having Zach and Nurk back out there. My guess is they'll be even more aggressive covering side pnr's than we saw when Z and Whiteside.

Takes some of the pressure of our guards and Melo while also allowing our size to have an impact both on and off the ball.

I’m not going to lie on paper right now we look very nice. Especially how Gary Trent has stepped up tremendously on offense and defense takes the sting away from Simons being absolutely garbage.

Im excited that Nurk and Collins are completely healthy. And throw in Whiteside too?

I’m cautiously optimistic but we look nice on paper.

Yep. Don’t forget about Skinny Melo. I’ll take him over Mo Harkless Mo Problems.

The three exhibitions or whatever the fuck will be the most fun games for me. Once the games actually count I’ll either be too stoned to know what’s going on, or too stressed out to enjoy them. I also can’t wait to see Nurkic play again.

I also don’t think the starters will see regular minutes so we’ll probably get a better look at the younger guys and see what improvements they’ve made, if any. Probably get a look at Adams as well.

The games are shorter though (10 minute quarters) so there will most likely be less garbage time. I know what you mean though. We get to see guys like Nurk and Zach play without worrying about our playoff chances. Forget Thursday though. I can't wait to see the first preseason game tomorrow. Magic vs Clippers. Let's go!

I'm hoping we do some of what we did on opening night.

I'm interested how quickly ZC collects fouls.

Wow Blazers basketball after 4 fucking months. Not gonna lie, my dick so hard right now

the card collecting world is collectively losing its mind on Bol Bol atm, his cards are literally being speculated like he's the next Hakeem.

He's better than Hakeem. He's like a young Manute Bol.

  • Hope Nas is okay after his concussion
  • Want to see what SF looks like for the Blazers from starter to bench
  • How will Whiteside fit in with the 2nd unit?
  • Will the Blazers go Twin Towers at times?
  • How rusty will both teams look?

The odds are really stacked against our team making the playoffs, so I'm just going to enjoy these games for what they are:
  • A trial run for deciding if we want to keep Melo and Whiteside next year.
  • Enjoying seeing Nurk and Zach back on the court happy, healthy and having fun.
  • Seeing if Nas lives up to the hype. (I know he's not playing in the first game, but he will eventually.) The guy took 11,000 jumpshots during the shutdown. That just seems like an insane number of shots.
  • Dame being Dame.
In the recent Lowe Post podcast, I thought Stan VanGundy brought up a good point, that without home court advantage there's not a lot of incentive for the contending teams to play extra hard. These games are a tuneup for them, while it's life-or-death for teams like ours. Our brutal schedule may not be as brutal as it looks.

What I be looking at the big 3 headed monster of Zach Nurk Whiteside. It was already out you will see Nurk and Whiteside on the court at the same time.
