Yeah. Now that I think about it they probably keep Pat cause we kind of need a third string shooting guard...... well guard that shoots in practice at least.

Layman can guard guards better than Connaughton.

I think we were all a bit shocked when Neil drafted the guy. But, he looks like a player out there. He doesn't look like a project. There is no room for him to get burn this year, but he looks like he could help a team on the floor now. That was a sneaky pick by Olshey.

It is painful to watch. I know Napier barely practiced, and then got hurt. But do they run an offense? Do the Blazer coaches even care? Seems like it is all one on one.

I don't know if it's by design, but players catch the ball on the perimeter and just hold it while everyone stares at them for a good 1-2 seconds before anyone makes a move. Then the move is usually a big man stepping up to set a screen, but nothing ever comes of it and we go back to standing around looking at each other. Players look like they don't know how to play off each other.

Dale Osborn seems asleep. Not sure he was the best guy to run SL

I think GMs fell in love with Connaughton's supposed athleticism because of the combine..... but I just don't see it. Layman seems more athletic.

Both Russ and Shabazz are bad. Small score-first pg's that can't score efficiently at the NBA level. Napier can get hot from 3, but he can't finish and his vision is pretty poor.

It really doesn't matter though as Turner is now the defacto 3rd pg. With that said, I thought the FO should've opted for more of a defensive first pg after making that signing.

The ball really slows him down. Very weak left hand dribble.

I knew it was going to take him awhile to make the transition to being more of a guard after playing primarily PF his senior year at ND, but his time is running out and he knows it.

I'm not sure what he's been working on for the past year, but he needs to spend the next year focusing on ballhandling and attacking the basket.

With 4 guys that play on the team last year this is big disappointment how they play together. There only 3 players that has caught my eye they are Von and expect that and Montero in spots and Layman you can he had high basketball IQ. Pat been a real disappointment so far this SL.

I don't know, if he doesn't show that he can shoot at an above average level, it's not going to matter. That's what's going to keep him in this league past his rookie contract.

You usually just hope for the best with second rounders but layman truly does look like a player. Not afraid to attack. Beautiful shooting stroke with no extra maintenance required. Defensive instincts. Olshey might've found another second round gem.

Can't wait til he gets a $100m contract.

Yeah his shooting should be his main concern. Without it the rest doesn't even matter. He's my first cut if we need a roster spot.

You guys are harsh. Napier didn't play yesterday and he barely played today before cliff tried to break his melon.

Jeez guys. Can we give Napier another game before we even try to put the car before the horse . Dude got his gourd knocked and then Smith took the ball away for the rest of the game!
