It's similar to Brooklyn giving up the 6th pick for Gerald Wallace.
Except the 2022 draft is deeper.
Mark Williams will probably go later than Meyers Leonard did at number 11.
I don't think anybody would pick Meyers Leonard over Mark Williams.

If we do this I’ll honestly stop following this poverty franchise until we have new ownership/GM. Would be absolutely pathetic (and stupid).

I feel the same but said what you said when we did the Clippers trade and here I am.

Bledsoe and Keon Johnson plus the 2025 bucks first round pick....use the 7 pick and pieces to get Ayton .or draft the best PF you can get.Ayton sets up the future with Ant and is a beast now at 23...

Get Ayton, and play Jusuf at the 4.
Solves a size issue.

They aren't getting Ayton, I think that fantasy can be put to death.
He'll get better offers so I tend to agree but man...you have to take a swing at that one. I'm fine with Nurk as it is

Would you do this trade?
I wouldn't do that deal, that's terrible for us. What I would be really excited about is if we could turn what we have in the way of Bledsoe, the big TPE and draft capital into Grant and Wood.

So trade 7 for Wood and 17. Then trade Bledsoe, 17 and the Bucks 2025 FRP for Grant. If Cronin did that, gave Grant, Wood and Hart reasonable extensions that only gave them a 1M raise in the first season of their extensions and re-signed Ant and Nurk to reasonable deals. I would really start to like Cronin a lot.

Dame, Ant, Grant, Wood, Nurk, Hart, Nas, Justise, pick 36, TPMLE could be a rotation that contends. I realize Dame would still be the only bonafide all star but 3-5 we would be stellar defensively and everyone of the guys starting can score. The three guys we know we have coming off the bench can defend and score. This is the kind of squad that would complement Dame, if Ant can be a decent defender and thrive in Chauncey's offense.

Nurk could probably play the 4...
He could.
The Ayton thing probably isn't happening, but moving Nurk to the 4 is not a bad idea.
Maybe getting a big, effective center, is a goal?
I would prefer this to J. Grant.

The people in here talking about moving ~300lb Jusuf Nurkic to the 4 spot when he might be too big and slow to play at a high level at the 5 in today's NBA have to be joking, right???

Hypothetically is there any financial way to acquire LaVine and Grant if we let Nurk walk? I’m not a big fan of either BUT if we can keep our #7 and can create space or value with Milwaukee 1st, Nurk, Hart, Nas a lineup of…

Dame
Ant
LaVine
Grant
Duren

would excite me, bench would suck though. Just a question so let’s chill on any overly negative feedback.

No, whichever deal you made first would make the other deal impossible. If we free up cap space and use it, that cap space we use erases the TPE. If we use the TPE to get Grant you're not going to be able to free up the cap space to sign LaVine.

Saying he struggles to "play at a high level at the 5..." is a questionable take. Or, maybe you're joking, right?
I don't feel Nurk is too slow at all, and I like your Christian Wood idea. They would make an interesting tandem.
Ideas dude.
Just ideas.....

It's so frustrating to me that it's plain as day that this team should just embrace a full rebuild, but instead we're going to continue with this farce treadmill. Doesn't matter if it's with CJ or without. We don't have the assets to put together a championship team. And Cronin has shown a complete inability to pull off trades that bring back good value.
