The only way to get into shape for a NBA game is to play in some NBA games.
NBA regular season games and NBA playoff games are literally nothing alike.

Honestly, I’d take 9/6/6 from him in playoffs. I liked his playmaking. He'd be more rusty if he waits to play. Those 3 "meaningless" games are important for him to get back in form before the Blazers see the highly intensive play off atmosphere. It's not about the level of competition. It's getting his shot back. Getting his legs under him. Getting back in form after not playing basketball for 3 weeks.
That makes no sense. If we play him now, he can play more in the playoffs because he will have a chance to be back in form. If we didn't play him now, he'd be a rust bucket in the playoffs. He'd get winded. He only played 25 minutes last game. Scored only 9 points. If we waited, it would be just like that, only in the playoffs.

My guess NBA regular season games are much closer to playoff games then one on one's with Steve Blake...NBA regular season games and NBA playoff games are literally nothing alike.
Maybe. I think we can all agree that hopefully he doesn’t play too many minutes in this bullshit back to back though.
I love that Blake still helps the team.My guess NBA regular season games are much closer to playoff games then one on one's with Steve Blake...
Me too, I always liked him, I wasn't trying to take a shot at him.I love that Blake still helps the team.
I didn’t take it that way.Me too, I always liked him, I wasn't trying to take a shot at him.

You’re asking how someone with a serious knee injury could possibly need rest?
Ah yes the trustworthy blazers medical staff. When have they ever gotten anything wrong! Brandon Roy totally didn’t end his career by rushing back to the playoffs amirite
There’s plenty of argument to be had about it, just not with sub-human rookie scum like Nurkalicous!
Right, you just called me a bitch.
Wait no, you passive-aggressively called me a “bitch” by saying I was “bitching.”
My mistake! The latter is so civil!
Bitching, simply means exactly what you were doing, whining and playing the victim.
It doesn't mean you are a bitch.
It's English your first language?
This happened days ago, get over it and stop bitching about it

He's Nurkalicious. And you know better than to be calling people clowns.Who the fuck is this guy?

He had a rough start, but he's settling in. ignore his first week or so and give him a chance. I think he'll be alright.
Thats why I like to have my kids with me when In in public. Hopefully they’ll be like oh thats the guy with the kids and not remember anything else.Sorry, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

But you get innumerable chances to give grace, and I implore you to do so.Sorry, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

The ability to give grace is not dependent upon the recipient.I always do. He's not helping tho...
The giving of grace is not dependent upon the recipient.
Hmm...we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. You have a different definition of the term than I do.Grace is a two way street IMO.

When you say "it depends on him", that indicates that you and I define it differently.I'm never going to show some people grace. Ever.
Trump will never get it from me.
So no we don't define it differently. We simply choose different times to express it.
There are just some people I'm never going to give grace to.
Our new poster may receive it from me or not. It depends on him.

It's OK.
Grace is:When you say "it depends on him", that indicates that you and I define it differently.
It's OK.
The thing about grace is the recipient may not deserve it, but he (or she) needs to accept it change and be better with the grace they've been given. I think it's important to be willing to extend it to everyone, but there's a vital step the recipient has to take.Courteous goodwill (the definition) doesn't determine who should receive it. It doesn't indicate who's deserving of it...
