I don't think there's a spot for him.

We are going to be overflowing with young guys. There wouldn't be any minutes for Bol.

We need to get on that right now. I think he's someone who can give you minutes at either front court position and someone whose skill set opposing teams have to adjust to when he comes off of the bench.

I love the idea that anyone is so sure of how this trade is going to pan out that they're not willing to think about this because we're sure to be overflowing with guys that would be more deserving of a roster spot. For all we know we'll send out Dame and Nurk and get Jovic, one of the Nets rookies, Simmons, McDermott and the rest of the compensation comes in picks. I don't think that sort of package would leave our roster "overflowing" to the point where picking up Bol doesn't make sense.

Let's do it, we need to bring in young guys with potential and hope some of them can pop

This real? I know we're overflowing but I'd take a flyer on him. He's been getting kicked off how many teams in his young career now?

Magic fans have been excited to have him.
Bro the Magic fans haven’t had much to be happy about since Howard left.

Looks like he's on the Warriors radar

That's fine. I fully expect that we're going to be brining in 4-5 young dudes. I really don't see how we would have time for a guy like Bol. I also think that's why we cut Trendon.

If we DO go through with the Heat trade, I fully expect we will see at minimum 2-3 guys, plus maybe 1-2 guys from a third team like Brooklyn. So that means we need to distribute minutes between:

Keon
Jabari
Murray
Rupert
Badji
Nas

That's assuming we have Scoot/Shae/Simons/Grant/Thybulle. So if we bring in Jovic/Jaquez/Martin (maybe?) and then maybe a couple dudes from Brooklyn. There's going to be a lot of young dudes to try out.

I don't think there's any reason to bring back Matisse honestly.

I disagree. He's a lock down defender, and we desperately need that.

I take it back. If we get Caleb Martin, and I'm assuming we do, then we don't need Matisse. If we don't get a vet SF brought back in a trade, then sure bring him back. We need to have room to develop our SF prospects.

The only Duck I want is Boucher.

I laugh when people be like “no thanks” about a player that wouldn’t cost us a damn thing and they’re better than others already on our roster.

The point is to improve ya roster, even at the back end.
It would be a nice change from last season.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Well.......in this case.......it did.

Instead of "I don't want..." or "I want ...", each of us should be asked is...
Is Badji > Bol Bol?

why wouldn't we sign him? he's over 7 ft and actually was finally healthy and had a pretty decent yr for Orlando? He's 23, is there some issues I/we should know about?

I would place a waiver claim and see how he works with the young core.

He's a bad basketball player that flashes enough to think he warrants pt over players actually worth investing time and money into.

...no thanks.

When do we need him?

He shouldn't be playing defense like a madman and being an utter nothing on the offensive end as we're floating around in the lottery. Why bother spending money on that? He's 26 and obviously is always going to be limited.

I'd rather spend whatever we'd spend on him on another guy who's taller than 6'8" so we can play our young guards and wings without having five small dudes on the court all the time.

Can't play 5 on D and have to zone up if you put him anywhere else.

He's a bit player that you have to cater your whole gameplan to.

Is he worth the minimum? Sure. Is it worth having him around, not for me.
