Bold Prediction Contest: 1 simple rule, $50 prize sponsored by Cookbook People

Whoever makes the most outlandish prediction that actually comes true before Nov 24th, I'll kick out a $50 gift certificate to my e-commerce store (CookbookPeople.com). Simple as that. Why? Because I think it might be fun (and what the hell, maybe it'll get a little traffic to our site).

I doubt a lot of you want recipe binders, but our bread box and our wood spoons are pretty damned popular, so you can always give either away as a gift for Christmas.

We'll put it up to a vote on November 24th (Black Friday) the top 8 picks I choose. Voting ends the following Sunday night. Predictions look bolder if you get them in earlier, so you might want to put it up soon.

Your stuff looks great Mook. I remember you posting the bread box, but hadn't seen the other stuff. I'm going to keep your website in mind when Christmas time comes around. Those bfast in bed trays look great. Are they pretty sturdy and durable? Like if I bought one for a family member with kids too young to cook breakfast in bed for their mom would it hold up and be around in 10 years when they are able to do so?

Also if you buy a set of the wooden utensils can each one be engraved with something different?

I can assure you this will not happen before Nov 24 - when the voting starts. If it does - I think you are entitled to an entire wooden kitchen.

Yep, we can engrave on each spoon/spatula how you want. Put a message in the order and let us know.

I'd steer clear of the trays--people just aren't buying them, and I just don't think they are a long term product for us. They are solid and reliable, but they just aren't as nice to have as you think. I shouldn't say that, but eh, there it is. We've got a super-cool organizer box I've been working on that's going to be awesome though. Seriously--I'm pretty excited. I'm going to give them to probably 9 or 10 friends for xmas.

Don't know about your tech problems, but I like your prediction. Except that we won't be able to verify it in November. Maybe modify it to something we can?
