LMAO…Stamkos literally holds onto Lindgren’s stick. Maroon should be having a penalty for that, but as usual TB can do no harm after the whistle proving that the penalty on Reaves in first period of game 2 was even more bullshit.
 
Can argue about the refs the Rangers have gotten solid and reffing in this game
 
Stay aggressive in the third and score on the odd man rushes coming up. No shells. Get the game and a series 3-0 lead
 
It's like ESPN wants to push what an extraordinary game Tampa is playing. Mess and Chelios having none of it.

Call the after the whistle shit though. Eventual my they will call it…on us because they didn’t stop this cheap shit when TB did it. I’m ok with it so long as they aren’t gonna call a penalty on Reaves for doing the exact same thing.
 
Wonder what's up with Strome? He came back out and went in again so maybe it's not too serious.

I'm glad they didn't fall for Stamkos holding Lindgren's stick and falling down.
 
ESPN needs to redo their whole in game hockey presentation. McD and Ferraro are like a 3rd team, not your # 1 team. They will call the SCF also. TNT got the best guys, and ESPN settled for crap, because I don't think they really care about hockey. We get stuck with it.

As for the game, cannot be upset with a lead going into the 3rd. The TB goal was a bit disappointing, bad TO by Kreider forces a bad penalty, and sort of a softie by Igor, but cannot be upset overall.

If we can get the next goal we'll win. If they get it, buckle up. So much on the line in the 3rd, we essentially can end this series right here with one strong period.
 
Would love for Copp to get a point... have a nice 3 player parlay with him fox and breadman getting a point at +400
 
Didn't love the way Strome looked, we might see Rooney in next game, with Goodrow moved up. Not the worst thing, although I like what the 4th line is doing right now.

Should've brought back Gary Thorne but it's like they owed McDonagh after the football gig with Gruden didn't work out.
 
Gotta go into the commercial break still up 1. Here comes the crap I was talking about too with penalties. These two series being sweeps and the Cup final not until two weeks would be awful.
 
NHL can’t have this series being a sweep and be forgotten about for two weeks. They will ensure this series keeps going.
 
They have a forward goal hanging at the blue line a lot when they and even we have the puck in the neutral zone which is why odd man rushes should be a regular thing for us.
 
I. Told. You. So. NHL has made the call. Cannot have both series be a sweep. NHL is forcing this to get at least 6.
 
Motte interfered with by Stamkos and no call. Just gotta accept that if we win this it’ll be due to straight outplaying them AND the NHL.
 
44-26 shots is a big advantage. Tampa definitely tilted the ice as they need this game. Hopefully, the Rangers can steal a goal in the second half of the period.
