They won't let us have anything nice.

WoW!!! I hope nothing is wrong too.

That would be three straight years in preseason.

I hope he's ok.
It's no wonder Vince said last night to him, "you're not playing with enough heart kid"

ok, please forget I ever said that. my fingers are crossed that everything's ok, and it's good that he's getting this checked out. if it's a problem, I hope they catch it early on.

Good luck to Josh. The Nets doctors saved Tractor's life, so he's in good hands.

If only JBF was a doctor, and not a lawyer; if only...

Although if JBF was as good a doctor as he was a lawyer, Boone would walk in for a check up and walk out with herpes.

Haha that gave me a good chuckle.

Let's bring him back. I wanna see him compare Boone to Lopez.

Yep, Boone has had migranes various times since his rookie year (maybe even in college, too? )

Eddie Curry had heart problems, could not get insurance, and Paxson offered him $400K/year for life (basically) to retire. Instead, he's gone on to play for the Knicks without any complications that I've heard about. The guy's fat and doesn't work hard and all that, but no heart problems.

Here's hoping there's nothing to Boone's problem beyond being dehydrated.

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought he had had them.

I don't feel like making another thread to talk about Swift, but the news about him today was not pretty either. If his fall was bad enough that it "cast a pall" over the entire practice, it must have been bad. I didn't think he was going to play much, so it doesn't hurt from that perspective. But I feel bad for him . . . and for the Nets, who now have no chance of trading him until he comes back from this injury.

Dumpy, we're already over your quota of "two of them will always be injured". So we don't have room for anyone to just suck.:)

Hopefully they'll both be ok. There are no other serious injuries, though, although it is time that Hayes and Najera started to play.
