They’re 3rd best odds to have him this season behind Portland and Miami apparently. I actually like rumored deal: Brogdon, Robert Williams, Derrick White, and pick. We could reroute Brogdon. Williams would be the key piece for us. Ayton and Williams would be awesome. Maybe Brogdon goes to Phoenix?

Would rather have Miami's crap than Bostons. They are actually a worse trade partner than Miami IMO.

Boston has 2 seasons to underpay Tatum before he gets supermax extension. I don't see Boston trading everything possible for Lillard, and letting Tatum walk.

We are currently in a world with the super restrictive second apron.

Boston was a possibility before the Brown signing, but with it, they cannot field a roster with Brown/Dame/Tatum/Porzingis.

Even if we say OK to a package of Williams and Brogdan, tying up 180 mil for 4 players in this CBA climate is stupid.

Per BetOnline, excluding the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics are frontrunners to be Damian Lillard’s next team. For the 2022-2023 season, Lillard averaged 32.2 points and 7.3 assists over 58 games.

While Miami has been Lillard’s most probable trade destination for weeks, their momentum is diminishing. According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Portland Trail Blazers have stopped trade discussions with the Heat.
