That "Rip City" one is absolutely atrocious, though, we may be able to score a few easy buckets from the other teams players eyes bleeding.

The retro with horizontal lower case portland is the best, like the lenny picture or the retro sheed jersey I bought a few years back.
 
Rip City ones look BAD ASS!!!! But we need to make it say Portland, not rip city.

I really like the Rip City ones... Sides are meh, but I like it reading that instead of "Portland" or "Blazers" for a few games.

1988 dunk contest in Chicago I think! I had a pair of those red Kangaroos!
 
Are you sure that isn't CHI? That's a lot of red in the building for KEY arena. It was in Seattle in 87 I think. That's the old Chicago Stadium. And yes I used to rock those shoes on the daily!

Sir, kindly check yourself before you wreck yourself.

A: that was in the kingdome.

B: there are two sonic players in the background. Tom Chambers and Terrance Stansbury. Terrance (mostly known for his Statue of Liberty dunk the year prior) did not play in the NBA in 88. Tom chambers did not participate in the contest in 88 (or ever again).

C: It wasn't held in Chicago when this picture was taken.

The all-star game was at the kingdome, but the dunk contest was at what is now Key Arena. I swear. I am never wrong. I don't care what that home made web site says! Time to get my google on!

Damn, that one travis was wearing is sick as hell!

I like those a lot... the red one, and the white version of the red one (Travis is wearing that).

I don't like the ripcity one, though.
 
I do not like the red stripe around the sleeves and collar nor the wide shoulders. I agree the red ones are good. I was under the impression that these would only be worn in pre-season games.
 
No. Every now and then. They are allowed to were then a certain # of times.
