BREAKING NEWS: Explosion Rocks Finish Line @ Boston Marathon

Some Salem runners were coming at about the time of the explosion. Also some doctors from Salem there at finish line. Dang. Wifey is freaking out, she's a 26.2 gal.

I didn't read through all the threads so I don't know if this has been addressed - but the running community is pretty tight in Salem because many of us run with groups associated with Gallagher's Running Store. There were 11 runners, that I know of, from Salem in the Boston Marathon (associated with the Gallagher's groups... there could be others). Fortunately 10 of them were already long past the finish line and one other was deverted (before they stopped the race) about 2 blocks back from the explosion. It is tough to wrap my head around right now, it felt too close.

They weren't on 4chan. They had two guys in military looking pants, the 17 year old in a blue jacket and his buddy, and an older guy in a blue jacket.

What makes them suspects? Any backpack was going to be destroyed, not just torn a bit. I also don't believe that they would expose their faces without at least wearing sunglasses.

Because it wasn't a press conference. It was a statement.

I hope they're right, because if not, the entire country is looking for two guys while the real perp(s) may be fleeing the country or deep in hiding here.

They claim they have video of the guy in the white hat putting his bag down. No clue why they didn't share that one tough.
