BRING BACK BOB WHITSITT

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I'm loyal to the Blazers - NOT KP.

Let's be honest though. You're really only here to raise a boring ruckus. Which to be fair has worked a bit. Still, far from original and you could have just said "FIRE KP!!!!!" in one of any other of the thousands of threads here filled with idiots saying the same thing.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Been awhile since I have watched it.

ding ding ding ding... its when Lancealot kills all the wedding guests to save the groom to be!

Here's something you guys might not be familiar with...

If, and it's a big if, Miller turns out to be worth the cause (I still think we need a banging, strong, rebounding F) I will be the first person to come here and say I was wrong and KP and other fans were right.

If someone were to prove to you I am not this person, I dount you would afford anyone the same courtesy - and the end result would only be more personal assaults. I appreciate your zeal and obsession for this Mixum persona, but you may want to consider a bit of lightening up on the obsession.

That's OK, I suspect I was a Blazer fan before most of you were even conceived, and was playing basketball on a college court while most of you were in diapers.

BTW - Mullets rock! Please, ignore me - it will make for a much more productive board. Thanks.

Serious question: how could you know? Running multiple e-mail accounts isn't all that tough.

I've known Blazers_Mullet or whatever his stupid name is for, as he says, about three decades. I recently introduced him to this site.

Is it POSSIBLE that he was posting for several years as MIXUM, never once mentioning anything to me in spite of my near-constant presence in the community? Sure.

Given that, is it POSSIBLE he created other accounts to communicate with MIXUM on his own? I guess so.

Then is it POSSIBLE that he acted ignorant about the board's existence and created a new account that he let me know is him? Uh, yeah.

But why would I think that a guy I've known for 30 years--a good guy, a family man, someone who I know has loved the Blazers forever--be doing this, when the simple answer is that there is more than one poster?

This goes to the basic reason that I have defended MIXUM for so long: people think they know, but they often don't. It's easy to jump to conclusions and those conclusions simply are often incorrect, especially when we're all working from limited information like someone's posting style. We know nothing about most people here, including their level of technical aptitude, their level of education, and their overall ability to communicate.

Some people are assholes in real life. Some people are grumpy online. Some people can barely type because they're almost blind and have arthritis.

Judging the POSTER is a bad idea when there is so much to criticize about any given post.

^ Fine.. Blazer Mullet Man is your alternate posting name! BUSTED

I respect what the guy has done to turn the Jailblazers into a team we can all be proud of. But, the honeymoon is over.

Can we at least wait for ONE season where we have a poorer record than the previous season before we declare the honeymoon is over? The honeymoon is just barely starting.

Most of the moves KP has made, in hindsight, have been good. 80%? 90%? I think that earns him the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

Honey, You need to calm down about KP.

Wow, you really went to the "back in my day" argument?

Well ladies and gentlemen we might as well move on, this discussion here has been put to bed and neatly "won" by our "business in the front, party in the back" friend here; we all know there's no adequate argument or comeback to the "I've been doing X since you've been doing P in your diapers" proclomation.

Well played sir, well played.

OK, I'll take your word for it.

Fair enough... With the growth of Roy, LA, Oden and others - assuming our GM is able to keep them in town, I don't foresee in the next coming years too much of a backslide. KP has his work cutout - with LA loving the Texas area and Roy being a player any team would love.

I can't stated this enough though - Roy needs to be treated like the hero he is in Ptown. Hedo should have been a lock and Millsap is the best FA in a long time that slipped from our fingers. Now, we are seem to be throwing in the towel to nab a pretty dang old PG who has trouble shooting...

Hope I'm wrong and I hope the media reports are incorrect, that KP is acting in frantic manor to bring in any body.
