The point is it was a shitty thing to do, and it looks even worse after the visiting team took a moment to honor a Ducks player. But focus on everything else.

Which one of these things (or things in your fantastic imagination is currently making up) were endorsed by the fanbase as a good thing? Yes every team has some bad apple fans, but those that win over time attract the band wagon idiots too... so of course UO has some of that going for them unfortunately.

What did I make up? Those things all happened and were shown to the world. Do you not think there are more things that have happened that weren't shared with the world? I agree with you that the Ducks have attracted many bandwagon fans and have been banging that drum for a decade. I already agreed that fans from any team can be jerkholes.

I'm not a Duck fan. I was a Duck fan growing up and then stopped being one my junior year at OSU because Duck fans that came to Corvallis were assholes.

Obviously there are good Ducks fans too.

I don't have a specific definition as I'm not sure there really is one. My experience with SPC is he's light-hearted and poking fun at a lot of topics, doesn't take too much serious here, but doesn't really cross lines. I will say, with not having a definition of a troll, I know one when I see one. I don't know SPC personally, but he's half the troll that 90% of the posters here are.

I think the Beavers are a bit over-hyped right now. I see a legitimate offense and a suspect defense. Which ironically is the same mix for USC and they just lost a DLine starter for the season; in a very shallow front-7

so Beavers +13.5 sure looks like it would have been a decent bet. I wonder how many people have bet the Beavers +13.5 and the Trojans -5. Decent chance to win both ways with those bets.

I'd anticipate a shootout with 80 combined points and 1000 combined yards. Which probably means it will be a 13-7 game

I dunno if I’d call it “hype”, but I guess that’s semantics/perspective. I just see a bunch of Beavs fans that are happy to see the Beavs not be a punching bag and hoping for more growth.

I’d say the Ducks are over-hyped, especially nationally (agreed with your assessment that they are probably not worthy of the #15 ranking), though my die-hard Duck friends are already writing off the season as a failure after that Georgia game.

I guess I see it as Beavs fans feeling like the glass is half-full, which Ducks fans are seeing it as glass half-empty.
