Stats aren't everything. I watched Camby put up great stats here in Denver for a couple of years, yet they gave him away for a 2nd round pick and won more than they did with him.

The Nuggs success has more to do with Melo's emergence and the Billups deal. They made the Camby trade to the Clipps for financial reasons.

I get why the Thuggets are playing better. I spend most of the year in Denver and see more of the Thuggets than I'd like. I'm a casual acquaintence of one of their assistant coaches who works out at my gym and he was the one who opened my eyes about Camby.
