The Rangers top players are failing miserably. A huge four minute PP and not only can't get a shot but give up a goal. Scared timid play.

Need better quality vets. These guys aren’t big time players.
I am tired of seeing Panarin's face. Somehow move this guy, I cannot deal with him anymore. Dude has been a bumbling idiot in the playoffs outside of 1 shot. He is turning the puck over everywhere, and simply refuses to shoot. He just won't do it. Gallant doesn't have the balls, but I'd bench him and Kreider for a few shifts.
And Kreider has not only been invisible Chris in these two games, he is lazy and sloppy Chris also. That play on Smith's goal was lazy and his penalties sloppy. No shots in 2 games.
And could Fox play that goal any worse? He should have been aggressive and went at Aho, he wasn't, and he still let him complete the pass to Smith. Joke.
I am really fed up, and this is why blowing game 1 hurts. Ready to say good job getting to round 2 and gaining experience, get someone who can win a FO and play 2nd line C - Strome invisible the whole playoffs - trade Panarin, and let's give it a run next season.

What's most annoying is it's been two winnable games and the vets haven't shown up. Now ESPN is in love with Brendan Smith. lol

I'd of said nothing because it never happens.
It’s not that one play, he simply refuses to be a veteran leader out there. He’s a supposed superstar but plays like a 13th forward. He has passed up countless good shooting chances to pass the puck to a teammate who has a worse shooting chance. His passes are terrible and typically offline or are telegraphed BECAUSE HE WONT SHOOT. This has been an issue. It’s actually why he scored the winning goal against Pitt. Everyone played him to pass and he shocked everyone by shooting. It’s ridiculous and it’s a reason why I don’t like Gallant. Panarin needs to be benched. If that was Laf or one of the young guys out there doing that shit (especially the half assing BS in game 1 that led to a goal) you know god damn well they’d be benched, but since it’s Panarin we won’t bench him. Fuck that. This is the playoffs. If you’re not going to give it your all, go grab some bench time and I’ll double shift the young guys.

Carolina does a good job at shutting things down once they get their game going. That's why the missed chances to begin games one and two will be the difference between winning and losing.

Put some fresh blood in the next game. Some of these guys have no legs. And why the fuck do we need to see the fourth line in the third. Shorten the bench, Gallant.

I don think Nash even played this bad. Panarin just turns the puck over every time he is on the ice. Frustrating.

Nash at least got shots off just couldn’t score. During the cup run I think he might have led the playoffs in SOG . Panarin can’t even connect a pass

Gotta tell Panarin in the off season that you either waive your NMC or accept the fact that you’ll be watching from the stands every game next year.

Absolute fucking trash. Looked like half the team skated in mud. Gallant needs to change his strategy. This is exactly how Carolina wants to play.
Like I said…I am NOT a Gallant fan at all. Panarin has been every teams best player but our team. Terrible playing by him night after night.
That's why game 1 was a crusher. You cannot blow opportunities like that against good teams. That was our shot to win there, score the 2nd goal on MANY chances or hold the 1-0 lead, and now down 2-0 it's just about over.
Why the game 1 L against the Canes was MUCH worse than the game 1 L against the Pens.
And the Canes are not much better than the Rangers, outside of FO's, the two games have been pretty even overall, but they know how to get it done and we do not yet. Their players play North-South get pucks on net, ours do not. Shame because I think we have been better in this series than against Pitt, yet we'll lose this one in 5 most likely.

Kakko needs to be in the top six. Frank the tank can take a hike.
It fits the narrative people want. That is your answer. As does complaining about Kakko, who is a huge reason we lost game 1 and has been mentioned like 3 times in 2 games. Notice how no one mentions Lafreniere moving up because he earned it, that doesn't fit the narrative. You should know that by now Mess.
What has Kakko done to move up? I would move Motte up before Kakko. Unless it is just Pan and CK have been poor, so move up Kakko by default.
