Good for the SUV driver.

There was literally no reason those bikers needed to try and intimidate or fuck with the SUV. I wish he would have ran over more of them.

Then the wife playing the poor victim card about her poor husband who will never walk again. LOL Good. that means he can't try to intimidate or whatever he was trying to do on the road again.

I like to ride motorcycles, but I have no tolerance for what these people did. In this situation, everyone is a loser. It's sad all around.

And if I were in my SUV and someone would have been banging my car with their helmets and slashing my tires with my wife and son in it, I would have done the same thing.

The bigger question, however, is where were the cops? If I were in the SUV, I would have called 911 and gotten to the nearest police officer/station, not just kept driving.

Sounds like this was not the first time they had staged this rally and it should have been shutdown before it got this out of hand. As shown, it is pretty dangerous for a group of motorcycles to be slowing down traffic in the manner they were riding. They should take witness statements from all of the riders and then charge them with crimes.

I think this is agreed across the board, regardless of politics. Those motorcycles were intimidating and threatening the safety of the SUV. The SUV was trying to avoid hurting anyone unless necessary.

People panic.

I don't know, before I choose a side, were the bikers or the SUV driver conservatives or liberals?

I ride a bike. I like to go out with a couple friends from time to time. I really hate when these large groups of stunt riders get together. They usually do stupid shit and cause lots of problems, but there's so many of them that the cops can't do much about it. There are a ton of videos on youtube of similar groups popping wheelies and riding at high speeds. These are the people who give motorcycles a bad name.

I believe that all of you are focusing on the second incident alone. The first was where this guy was injured. The SUV driver had hit another biker to begin with, this guy went to the aid in the injured rider.

from the article

Mieses was hurt in the road rage incident Sunday afternoon as hundreds of stunt bikers led an unauthorized rally.

Mejia-Mieses said her husband got off his motorcycle to help a fellow biker who was hit in the initial collision.

“When all the bikers stopped, my husband got out, parked his bike to walk over to try to help his friend. He walked over towards the front of the vehicle when, at this point, I don’t know what happened the man was scared, the man just peeled off and ran over my husband,” she told WBZ-TV.

The chase that followed was the result of the SUV driver driving over this guy. The guys that have been arrested were not the cause of the event that injured the guy that will probably never walk again.

This is a sad deal all around, the SUV driver should have stayed in place upon the initial incident

The initial accident happened because the biker brake checked the SUV. Then they started to attack him. I wish the guy in the range rover had a fucking gun and shot these fuckers.

Have you watched the video yet?

The first incident, the motorcycle cuts in front of the SUV and then does some brake checking bullshit and gets hit by the SUV. Then all of the motorcycles get pissed and stop, at which point the SUV runs over a bike or two.

Just curious, but would you stay at the scene if there was that many angry bikers?

yeah I watched the video several times, yeah, I witnessed the initial ACCIDENT involving the SUV and the first motorcycle. Regardless of how the ACCIDENT happened, that does not give the SUV driver the right to panic and use the two ton vehicle as a lethal weapon. Another thought come to mind as I type this, if it was not an accident, then would it be attempted man slaughter?

That is what you are required to do by law. In my opinion, those were pretty tame "Bikers", I know the real deal, those guys were as the article stated "stunt riders", more than likely a bunch of movie guys...

I am a motorcycle rider. But if was in this SUV then there is no way I am sticking around if I don't have a gun and just let 30 or so bikers beat the windows in and get at my family. The guy had a young child in the backseat and later that window (where the child sits) was busted in.

again, I believe you have not realized the initial incident in the first few seconds of the video

The problem is that the video doesn't show the crucial part of the incident. The only thing you see that's really important is the idiot biker pulling in front of the SUV and then break checking. At that point we lose sight of whatever happens and only see the SUV freaking out and running people over. The only thing I would say that doesn't bode well for the SUV is that most of the bikers are just sitting there. It's not like there was a mad dash to jump him.

Nah Self Dense, those motorcycle riders were wearing hoodies.

If the government hadn't shut down, this wouldn't have happened.

Movie guys? No. Stunt riders are large groups of guys who get together, like in this video, and break the law. They are able to get away with it because they're usually in huge numbers, but the common practice is to pop wheelies and go really fast.

This is a good one.

I just attempted to watch again, but this 32 bit pos only works when it wants..I don't recall guys beating on the window until the second incident..almost six minuets after running over the first guy and fleeing

by the same token, if someone was attempting to run me over, and i was armed, I would fire.

It was the second incident but if you want to sit tight and wait for the cops (that weren't even called so were never coming) and think that those people wouldn't have beat the window in on the 1st incident then be my guest. If I was alone then maybe. Not with a family in the car.
