Canzano Article on Vulcans

One part of the story is just repeating what many others have said since Allen bought the team: his sister is a major player behind the scenes, and doesn't give a hoot about owning an NBA team.

Lord only knows if the rest of it comes from anywhere other than Crapzano's poisonous imagination.

I've heard from several unrelated people the same description of her (will not admit/recognize she doesn't know something, random judgments, general bitchiness regardless of circumstance), so I have no trouble with that part. The rest really looks made up, or at least pretending a single source/rumor is more substantial than that. Canzano is like talk radio: find shit to stir up, make somebody a 2-dimensional bad guy, feign innocent intentions afterward.

Meanwhile, a lot of what he has written in this article falls in line with my own beliefs on Vulcan Inc.

That should certainly be cause for reconsidering your beliefs.

No direct quotes.

Not a single example of employees "Riding high one year, and banished from the kingdom the next." Despite the fact that it's always going on.

Not one example of people in Vulcan cutting each others throats on a daily basis. Despite the fact that it's always going on.

Just a bunch of embarrassing ©John Canzano's bullshit.

Best thing you've posted. You keep improving.

I expect to hear something from Paul before tip-off tomorrow. I expect him to say nothing which could be in any way construed as a commitment to keeping KP. I expect him to say something that will shore up KP's position. As for the Penn firing, I don't think it was PA's idea, I think he was approached with the suggestion by a Vulcan, and did nothing more than rubber-stamp the firing.

Agree. Why should Allen, the Vulcans, Miller, or anyone else have to issue a statement in favor of Pritchard, when they're fighting him so hard on the giant raise he wants? He thinks he's God's gift to basketball and will just use it against them in contract negotiations.
