Canzano says Blazers being prepared for auction

Why do they have to be Oregonians? The team has never been owned by an Oregonian.

Wow is Phil at 49 billion?! Damn even more so my point. I don’t get why he doesn’t buy the blazers and just use it for an investment toy. He wouldn’t even feel it whatsover in his pocket if he bought the team

Super inconsistent in management. People talk about how loyal to a fault Dame has been with coaches and teammates. Merritt is moreso with even mediocre results. Has ridden the coattails of a generational player and random hot streaks to championship appearances, and then 2 of those games flopped because he pinched Pennies on positions of need.

picture a louder Mouth Mark Cuban while playing with dads money.

LOL. If a new Blazers Owner could take the franchise to 3 championship appearances in the next decade, as the Timbers have done, we would all be ecstatic.

Consider the source.

Summary:

Auction in 6 to 18 months.

No way they relocate.

Might affect thinkikg on Dames contract extension

i don’t get they City of Portland lease part, for what? Paul Allen built & owned the Rose Garden outright. What is leased?

He’s probably just a metoo supporter trying his best to downplay a championship and 2 cup appearances in 10 years lol

Chad Doing has this last week. Wonder if they are hearing the same thing, or if the Clown is just parroting what Chad brought up. Doing seemed quite certain.

if they were remotely the same level of difficulty I'd be ecstatic as well.

Why? He already won a championship and multiple cup appearances. Timbers are never garbage either. I would love him

Interesting. Cause I have sat through some downright awful to mediocre seasons. I know I haven't been around much the last decade or so here, but in the short amount of time I have been around and seen you post, it sure seems like mediocrity was a thing you derailed several threads about around these here parts.

did he mention what they mean by "auction"?

FIFY PapaAldo (just was trying to make the stats look better for ya boi)

Good, we can replace our poverty cheap owner

No they won't.

In the article itself.

I’m told there is no plan for the franchise to be relocated. Portland has a functional arena, loyal customers and commissioner Adam Silver wouldn’t dare repeat the biggest mistake of David Stern’s career — ushering the Sonics to Oklahoma City.

I've been telling you guys that for months.

The east & west parking garages and the MC are owned by the city.

Ah I see. So if they lose that how does that affect the main arena still being owned by Paul Allen estate? That’s the bread and butter

Clownzano is full of shit. He just needed an article.

By controlling the MC and all the parking around both arenas they can schedule noncompeting events and allocate parking to the higher dollar events.

Makes sense but does that really make a difference for a potential new owner? He still owns the arena outright

Be prepared Blazer fanatics….Portland may wind up in Las Vegas? Seattle?

Literally said in the summary on the OP that they aren't going to relocate.

You didn't have to even click on anything.
