That's the first thing I thought but it's growing on me. Mt Hood as the feathers is dope.

I’m told the new logo also includes iconic representations from our region. There are hidden nuances within the logo that I’m told onlookers might not notice at first glance. According to one source, “Once you do see them, you’ll never unsee them.”

Maybe they should try an actual "Winter Hawk"?

So I guess the black represents antifa, the white represents the people of Portland, and the orange represents the dumpster fires?

At last count, my siblings and I (those of us who still live in Oregon) are, I think, 5th generation Oregonians (which, outside of this thread, amounts to not a lot).

I agree that they should have had their own identity, or logo, for a while. I remember one "fan" telling me that they were a farm team of the Blackhawks, which is why they had the same logo.

Actually, I'm a direct descendant of someone who came across the Oregon trail in the 1840s. And back then, Washington was part of the Oregon Country.

No I'm saying even if I live in Washington, which I don't, it was part of Oregon so it had been living in oregons shadow for most 130 years now.
