According to this guy:

Source says Cavs are especially looking at young players who have failed to live up to potential, could be had cheap, and may still develop.

As for younger players described before, think Tyler Hansborough, Randy Foye, or Greg Oden. All speculation at this point, though.

Cleveland sources claim they spoke to a "Fez Hammersticks" in determining that Oden had failed to live up to his potential and could be had cheap. Said one Cleveland source, "I was told that Greg Oden is going to have a Jamaal Magloire career, is morbidly obese and is no longer able to jump due to his injuries. Sounds like we can get him for not much."
 
They can think. No crime in thinking (insert political joke her).
 
No mention here of the obvious motive for Cleveland wanting Oden--he went to Ohio State.

The news is that the Cavs got something for LeBron from Miami--2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks, and a giant $16M trade exception. So the Cavs have more to offer in a trade than they did a couple of days ago.
